1980年、珊瑚礁の海に興味を持ちスキューバダイビングを開始し、世界各地の海に潜り、同時に水中写真を夫に習い、その後独学にて海洋生物を撮り始める。 |

1990年、日本写真家協会JPS展で金賞。以来、数々の写真コンテストで多くの受賞歴を持つ。 |

水中撮影は5,000時間を超え、インド洋のモルディブ共和国においては30回以上にわたって撮影を続けている。
また世界各地の海底をフィールドに精力的に撮影を行っている。
現在はパプアニューギニア、インドネシアの海に生きる生き物たちの生態記録、擬態する生き物の不思議などを撮影。
南アフリカでは、海の生態系の頂点にいるホホジロザメをケージの中で撮影し、スーパーシャークの美しい姿をカメラにおさめている。
サメの撮影は一生のライフワークとしている女性水中写真家の第一人者。 |

世界水族館会議、アクアマリンシンポジウム「ザ・シーラカンス」、三河湾環境改善シンポジウムなどでの国内、国際会議の特別講演、パネリスト、企業での講演、小学校・中学校で課外授業「環境」の講師、生涯学習センターでセミナーの講師、テレビ・ラジオなどのメディアを通して海の魅力を伝えている。 |

Get interested in the sea of coral reefs in 1980, and started to dive into the sea. Dived into the sea of all over the world, and was simultaneously taught the underwater photograph by my husband, And then, began to take pictures of a marine organism by myself-education. |

I won Golden Prize from the JPS exhibition of the Japanese photographer association in 1990. Since then, I have had many award histories in many photograph contests.

My underwater photography exceed 5,000 hours.
I have been continuing to take photos 30 times or more in Republic of Maldives in the Indian Ocean.
Moreover, I have taking a photos energetically in the field in the seabed of every corner of the earth.
Now, I have been taking ecology records of the living things which are useful to the sea and wonderful of the living thing which carries out mimicry in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. (In order to animals may protect the bodies, model forms, colors, etc. on the other animals or a surrounding things.)
I take the photos in a cage HOHOJIROZAME(shark) which is at the top of a marine ecosystem in South Africa. I took a photograph of beautiful super shark's figure.
I am one of the authority of the female underwater photographers, photographing is my lifework. |

Social activity
World aquarium meeting, Aquamarine symposium "THE coelacanth", Mikawa-bay, Environment, Improvement, Symposium, etc. I give the lecture in a company, the special lecture of domestic or an international conference. I am a panelist. I am the lecturer of a seminar in the lifelong learning center and the lecturer of an extracurricular lesson "environment" at the elementary school and junior high schools. I though out the media, TV, radio..., and told about marine charm. |
